James Griner

James Griner, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Security at the Palmetto Dunes Property Owners Association since January 2010, leading a team of 38 employees to oversee security operations for over 3,000 residential properties and 11 commercial entities. With extensive experience as an Accreditation Assessor for CALEA since 2007, James conducts thorough evaluations of law enforcement agencies nationwide to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Prior to these roles, James was the Watch Commander at the Garden City Police Department from August 1993 to January 2010, supervising patrol officers and managing specialized units while achieving notable recognition for leadership and operational excellence. James holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University, along with a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Armstrong State University.
