Phil Yphantides

Phil Yphantides, M.D., currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and VP of Medical Affairs at Palomar Health, having held these positions since October 2022. Phil is also a member of the Board of Directors for TrueCare since April 2023 and previously served on the Board of Directors for Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group and TrueCare. Phil's past experience includes the role of Medical Director at Sharp Rees-Stealy Urgent Cares from March 2013 to July 2022 and Medical Director at Neighborhood Healthcare from 2001 to 2006. Phil's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the UC San Diego School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in General Bio/Physiology from UC San Diego.
