Kyle Knutson

Kyle Knutson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kyle started their career as a GIS Intern at the City of Prior Lake, where they created and updated databases in ArcGIS. Kyle then worked as a Code Enforcement officer at the City of Fridley, inspecting properties for code violations and guiding property owners towards compliance.

Kyle then transitioned into the financial sector, joining Wells Fargo as an Escrow for Completion Analyst before taking on roles as a Sales Specialist and SME and System Tester. In these positions, they originated and reviewed credit applications, analyzed financial needs, and assisted with the design and testing of new application interfaces.

After their time at Wells Fargo, Kyle joined Accenture as a Test Engineering Senior Analyst, where they resolved tickets and managed the testing process for a SaaS-based Mortgage Software. Kyle also worked on test planning and execution, issue resolution, and project tracking using Agile methodologies.

Following their tenure at Accenture, Kyle joined Sogeti as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Big Data testing for Finance, Analytics, and Reporting views. Kyle verified data and tables created by Data Engineers using SQL scripts and Power BI, ensuring data accuracy in the Hadoop Corporate Finance Data Lake.

Currently, Kyle is serving as the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst in the Data & Analytics team at Palomar. Kyle'sresponsibilities include collaborating with various teams to produce test strategies, scenarios, and test cases, defining acceptance criteria, and performing End to End testing to track data flow and validate reports and dashboards based on business requirements.

Throughout their career, Kyle has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze technical requirements, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Kyle Knutson earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Kyle then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Urban Planning at Minnesota State University, Mankato, from 2007 to 2009. In 2020, they completed a program in Full Stack Web + Mobile Development at Nucamp Coding Bootcamp.
