Mulweli Mathagu

Mulweli Mathagu is an experienced metallurgist currently serving as a Senior Metallurgist at Pan African Resources PLC since June 2022, with previous roles including Acting Senior Metallurgist and Technical Metallurgist. Mathagu has been a member of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy since January 2022 and has held the position of Plant Metallurgist at Sibanye-Stillwater from January 2018 to May 2022. Academic contributions include tutoring Mass Transfer III, ADU Process I, and 4th year Design at the University of the Witwatersrand from January 2015 to December 2017. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (2011-2014), a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of South Africa (2019-2022), and ongoing studies in Management Development at GIBS Business School (March 2023 - December 2023).
