Anne-Gaëlle Selod

Anne-Gaëlle Selod, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations and institutions.

Anne-Gaëlle currently serves as the Medical Director at the Pan American Health Organization since August 2018.

Prior to that, they held the position of Chief, Health Services at FAO and Chief, Medical Service at IFAD from May 2015 to August 2018.

From 2007 to 2015, they worked as an Occupational and Field Health Physician at the World Bank Group and IMF.

In 2013, they served as a Medical Doctor at the African Development Bank.

Earlier in their career, Anne-Gaëlle Selod worked as a Resident Medical Officer and Senior Medical Officer at AP-HP, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris from 2003 to 2006, and as a Medical Doctor at Centre Medical CMETE in 2007.

Anne-Gaëlle Selod, MD, MBA has a diverse education history. In 1992-1995, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ESCP Business School. After that, from 1995 to 1997, they obtained a Diplome de Sciences-Po Paris, a Master of Arts degree from Sciences Po. Moving on, they attended Université Paris Cité from 1997 to 2003, completing their Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Medical and Biological Sciences. In 2005-2006, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate (DIU) in Travel Medicine from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Later, from 2006 to 2011, they pursued a Medical Specialty Degree in Occupational Health from Université Paris Cité. Lastly, in 2012, they attended Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for a program specializing in Management and Leadership Skills for Healthcare Professionals. Additionally, in 2018, they obtained a certification in SSAFE (Safe and Secure Approaches in Field Environment) from UNDSS in Laives, Italy.
