Martin Bell

Martin Bell is an experienced professional in tech and digital policy, currently serving as Digital & Tech Policy Manager at Panasonic since November 2021, where leadership is provided on EU and UK tech and digital policies. In addition, Martin holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Digital Innovation Committee at the Japan Business Council in Europe since June 2023. Previous roles include Policy Manager for Privacy and Cybersecurity at DIGITALEUROPE, where advocacy strategies were developed, and Privacy Policy Coordinator at Microsoft, focusing on EU digital privacy legislation. Martin's career commenced with positions that tracked and responded to EU digital initiatives, culminating in a strong academic foundation with a Master's degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Dundee.
