Alka Bhat

Alka Bhat, Ph.D., is a research scientist at Pandorum Technologies since January 2022, with prior experience as Volunteer Lead at the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and involvement in communications and sponsorship at BIOTechno Grand Est. Alka has a robust research background, having completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and contributed to PhD research in Cell Biology and Cell Physics at the University of Strasbourg. Additional research experience includes a visiting researcher role at the Max Planck Institute and contributions as a Junior Research Fellow focused on Alzheimer's disease at the Indian Institute of Science. Alka's expertise encompasses cell biology, biophysics, microfabrication, bio-imaging, and high-end microscopy techniques, supported by an educational foundation in microbiology with both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and Savitribai Phule Pune University, respectively.
