Phani Kiran Karra

Phani Kiran Karra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Phani Kiran currently serves as the Director of Finance at Pandorum Technologies, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, Phani worked as a Consultant for Startups at V-CFO Services from February 2018 to January 2021.

In 2019, Phani briefly worked as a Visiting Faculty at IMT Hyderabad. From 2011 to 2018, they were the Head of Finance at Versé Innovation Pvt Ltd, a leading startup in the vernacular digital content space. In this role, they managed the business and statutory requirements of multiple legal entities and business verticals across India, Bangladesh, and Africa.

Before that, Phani held the position of Controller at IMImobile Ltd; Aliens Group from November 2009 to September 2011. Phani Kiran successfully managed working capital requirements, headed an ERP implementation project, and streamlined internal processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

From 2004 to 2009, Phani worked as the Head of Reporting & Control at Alghanim Group, where they gained extensive experience in handling feasibility projects and financial evaluations. Phani Kiran played a vital role in integrating operational modules with the finance function, resulting in the successful implementation of SAP at India and Middle-East plants.

Phani's career started in 2001 as the Finance In-charge at SHV Energy (Supergas). During this time, they gained expertise in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and implementation of ERP systems.

Throughout their career, Phani has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, and business strategy across various industries and has successfully managed multiple responsibilities and projects.

Phani Kiran Karra ACA, CMA, HEC Paris has a diverse education history with a focus on finance, strategy, and leadership. In 1993-1995, Phani Kiran Karra attended Little Flower Junior College in Hyderabad and completed an IPE degree. From 1995-1998, they attended Badruka College Commerce Arts and obtained a B.Com degree in Commerce. In 1996-1999, Phani Kiran Karra studied at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained an ACA degree in Finance. During the same period, they also studied at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and received an ICWA degree in Costing. Phani Kiran Karra further pursued education in finance management at the Centre for Financial Management from 2002-2003, where they received a CFM degree. In 2007-2011, they completed Level 2 of the CFA Institute's program with a focus on Portfolio Management. In 2017, they attended CTEP and earned a degree in Trust and Estate Planning. In 2018, Phani Kiran Karra completed the Advanced Management Programme AMP 12 in Strategy and Leadership at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Phani Kiran also participated in the Global Business Awareness Program at HEC Paris in 2018.
