Marcelo Algranatti has extensive experience in various roles related to manufacturing, management, and engineering. Marcelo is currently the Director of Manufacturing at Paneltronics, Inc. since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Plant Manager at GBI Intralogistics Solutions from October 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for process improvement, staff management, and analyzing workforce utilization. From January 2012 to October 2017, Marcelo served as a Production Manager at Paneltronics, Inc., reducing manufacturing costs and lead time through Lean Six Sigma concepts.
Before joining Paneltronics, Marcelo had experience as an Owner Operator at RIB Adventures Now from August 2010 to August 2013. Marcelo also worked as a Vice President at The SolidExperts, Inc. from December 2005 to August 2010, managing sales teams and increasing revenue consistently. Marcelo started their career as a Business Consultant at CADD Centers of Florida in 2005, where they increased software and training sales.
Prior to that, Marcelo worked as a CADD Manager at Gunderlin from January 2000 to January 2005, reducing production costs and lead time while improving manufacturing accuracy. Marcelo also served as a Mechanical Engineer at Equinox Systems Inc. from August 1998 to January 2000, where they were responsible for designing plastic and sheet metal parts and supervising development through manufacturing.
Marcelo's earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer Designer at PerryTritech from May 1998 to August 1998, designing a capture mechanism for a new Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) using SolidWorks. Marcelo also worked as a Product Engineer at ModernTech Mechanical from October 1997 to May 1998, providing technical support and conducting training classes on SolidWorks.
Marcelo Algranatti graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they attended from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1989 to 1992, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from that institution.
In addition to their formal education, Marcelo Algranatti holds several certifications. Marcelo obtained a Merchant Mariner certification from the United States Coast Guard in August 2010. In March 2005, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional through Dassault Systems - SolidWorks Corporation. Furthermore, they received the Territory Salesperson of the Year award from Dassault Systems Corporation in January 2006.
