Oumar

Oumar Ba has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Oumar started their career as a Sales Marketing Assistant at Reda Solutions in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Front End Developer Intern at Pratt & Whitney Canada, gaining valuable experience in web development. Oumar then joined McGill University as an ECM Specialist Intern and Java Developer in 2019, where they automated tests and improved developer productivity. During the same year, they co-founded DY-Express, a food delivery service based in Mauritania, where they played a key role in building the website and server using MERN stack and GraphQL. Currently, Oumar is working as a Lead Developer at Paper, where they are responsible for transforming a monolithic app into micro-frontends, building dashboards and an in-app notification system, and providing technical planning and mentoring.

Oumar Ba attended Lycée Français Théodore Monod de Nouakchott from 2013 to 2015 for their high school education. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering at Concordia University from 2015 to 2020.
