Amanda Rufener

Amanda Rufener is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in account management and exhibitor relations. Currently serving as Vice President and Account Executive at PaperAirplane Media since April 2021, Amanda previously held the position of Vice President of Exhibitor Relations at Lionsgate from October 2009 to November 2020. In that role, Amanda collaborated with diverse teams to implement innovative strategies for over 190 theatrical releases, including notable films such as LA LA LAND, KNIVES OUT, and franchises like THE HUNGER GAMES and JOHN WICK. Amanda's expertise includes negotiating marketing agreements and fostering relationships with key national and regional exhibitors to enhance in-theatre and digital promotional campaigns. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Idaho State University and furthered educational qualifications at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
