Roxanne Matiz

Roxanne Matiz's work experience includes various roles in the art and photography industry. Roxanne is currently the owner and photographer at Roxanne Matiz Photography since 2015. Prior to this, they worked at Paperless Post as a Customer Operations Associate, handling user inquiries and design requests. Roxanne also worked as a Paper Approver Associate at Paperless Post. Before that, they were a Cataloguer for Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christie's, where they researched and catalogued works related to Andy Warhol. Roxanne also curated sales and wrote sale-related texts. Roxanne worked as an Assistant in Latin American Art at Sotheby's, conducting research, managing estimate requests, and assisting with consignment creation. Additionally, they have experience in fashion public relations at PR Consulting, curatorial work at The Museum of Modern Art, press intern at Gladstone Gallery, gallery intern at Jim Kempner Fine Art, and editorial intern at Art in America. Roxanne Matiz has developed skills in various applications such as Zendesk, Looker, Asana, Slack, Sailthru, AirTable, G Suite, and Adobe through their work experience.

Roxanne Matiz attended Phillips Academy from 2003 to 2006. Roxanne then pursued their higher education at New York University, where they received a B.A. degree in Art History and French from 2006 to 2010.
