David R. White

David R. White is the founder of Papermill, a startup focused on reimagining document writing. David R. raised initial funding and built a talented team to develop a new product. Prior to this, they worked as a freelance developer consultant for early stage startups, where they utilized their skills in Python, Java, and React Native to develop prototypes and demonstrators for various apps.

From 2018 to 2021, David worked as a Research Associate at The University of Sheffield, where they focused on automated programming for quantum computing, machine learning, and IoT. David R. also worked on the Pitch-In Project, combining their expertise in computer science and physics.

Before that, David was a Research Associate at University College London, specializing in artificial intelligence and software engineering from 2016 to 2018. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at the University of Glasgow School of Computing Science as a Research Associate on the AnyScale project, and prior to that, they were a SICSA Research Fellow in Complex Systems.

David began their career at the University of York as a Research Associate, where they focused on search-based software engineering and worked on topics like software optimization and empirical experimentation. David R. also has experience working as a Software Engineer and Analyst for N Brown Group, where they developed assembly code for mainframes.
