Xavier Jacquemont has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy and engineering industry. Xavier is currently serving as the Head of projects execution - Energy from waste at PAPREC GROUP since May 2022. Previously, they worked as a Project Director - Energy from waste plant at CNIM from February 2019 to May 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Power plant director at Uniper from October 2016 to January 2019.
Before joining Uniper, Xavier held multiple positions at E.ON, including Deputy plant director - Operation & maintenance manager from February 2015 to September 2016, Biomass conversion project construction manager from January 2013 to January 2015, and Plant Maintenance Manager from January 2008 to January 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the maintenance department at Provence Power Station, overseeing annual outages, and leading a team of approximately 50 people.
Earlier in their career, Xavier worked at Alstom Power as a Site Manager / Commissioning Manager from January 2006 to December 2007 and as a Commissioning engineer / commissioning manager from May 2001 to December 2005. Xavier also gained experience as an Engineer intern at CEA and as a Student Internship at ARIANESPACE.
Xavier's professional journey began with a role as a Trainee at Elf Atochem in June 1999. Xavier also pursued their education during this time, studying as a student at ECAM from 1997 to 2000.
From 1997 to 2000, Xavier Jacquemont attended ECAM LaSalle - ECAM Lyon, where they pursued a degree in Ingénieur généraliste. During their studies, they focused on various subjects including Mécanique, Electricité, Matériaux, Automatismes, and Informatique.
