Luciano Lafuente

Luciano Lafuente has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Their most recent position was as Project Director at Paracel, starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Engineering & Control at the same company from March 2020 to October 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Luciano worked at Veracel Celulose S/A, where they held different managerial positions including Recovery & Utilities Manager and Technical Control & Engineering & Maintenance Manager. Before that, they worked at CMPC as a Reliability & Engineering Manager and Commissioning Coordinator. Luciano also worked at Montes del Plata, Eldorado Brasil Celulose S.A, and Poyry Tecnologia Ltda, gaining experience in project coordination and engineering. Luciano began their career as a Trainee Engineer at MCE ENGENHARIA LTDA and gained internship experience at Poyry Tecnologia Ltda and Suzano Papel e Celulose.

Luciano Lafuente has a diverse education history. Luciano completed their Graduation in Mechanical/Production Engineering from FEI from 1996 to 2001. Luciano pursued a Specialization in Accounting and Financial administration from Fundação de Tecnologia e Ciências Aplicadas from 2006 to 2007. Later, they pursued an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2012-2013. Currently, Luciano is engaged in a Post Graduation degree in Pulp & Paper from Universidade Federal de Viçosa, which started in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2022. Luciano Lafuente also holds the certification of PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
