Oscar Sjostedt has had a diverse work experience in the gaming and graphic design industries. Oscar began their career at Glen graphics as a graphic designer, working on logotypes and layout. In 2008, they decided to pursue a course in 3D graphics and joined The Game Assembly / Hermods AB as a student. During this time, they gained experience in various game development roles and worked on 8 games with their own engines.
After completing their studies, Oscar joined Ubisoft Massive Entertainment as a Concept Artist in 2010. Oscar contributed to game development in this role until 2016. Then, Oscar joined NetEnt as a Senior 2D Artist and worked on developing illustrations for two years.
Most recently, Oscar has been working at Paradox Interactive since 2018 as a Senior 2D Artist, Concept Artist, and Illustrator. In addition to their artistic responsibilities, they have also taken on leadership and art direction roles, handling outsourcing and helping create new style guides and directions for various games.
Oscar Sjostedt obtained a Certificate Diploma in Game art, 3D, concept art, team projects, and animation from The Game Assembly between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Malmö University, which spanned from 2003 to 2006.
