Davis Tran

Davis Tran is a software engineer currently employed at Parafin since July 2023. Previously, Davis held multiple roles at the University of Pennsylvania, including Head Teaching Assistant for CIS 1100, focusing on Intro to Programming, a Data Science Research Intern specializing in Hypergraph Anomaly Detection within social networks, and a Coding Instructor for CS Fundamentals. Additional experience includes teaching assistant positions at The Wharton School and The Global Teaching Project, as well as engineering internships at notable companies such as Robinhood and Workday. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, with a strong background in various programming and computational concepts enhanced through additional education at CodePath and dual enrollment experiences in high school.
