Jerome Thai, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist currently working at Parafin since March 2023. Previously, at Lyft from January 2018 to November 2022, Jerome held the position of Senior Data Scientist, Algorithms, where significant contributions included leading marketplace optimization initiatives and developing advanced machine learning systems for real-time pricing decisions. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Research Scientist at Lyft, a Software Engineer Intern at Google Research, and research positions at prestigious institutions such as UC Berkeley and Columbia University. Jerome holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, along with multiple advanced degrees in Computer Science and Operations Research from top-tier universities.
