Machelle Burdett-Edmonson

Machelle Burdett-Edmonson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Machelle has worked as a Paragon IT Professional Business Analyst/Scrum Master at Corteva Agriscience since 2023, where they are part of the Predictive Safety Center team. Prior to this, Machelle worked as a Business Architect at Core BTS from 2021 to 2023, where they served as a Scrum Master, Mentor, and Coach.

From 2019 to 2021, Machelle worked at Corteva Agriscience as a Paragon IT Professional Business Analyst, leading Agile Ceremonies and working on various projects, including building a Compound Ordering and Prioritization Application.

Before joining Corteva Agriscience, Machelle held the role of Sr Business Analyst at ADESA from 2017 to 2019, focusing on performance improvements in the automotive industry. Machelle also worked as an Avantia Web Business Analyst on a contract basis at Delta Faucet Company in 2017.

One of their notable projects was overseeing requirements for a system conversion to SAP.

Machelle also had extensive experience at Conseco, Inc, where they held multiple roles. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Assitant VP, Claims Support, leading teams and streamlining processes. Machelle also worked as a Project Manager/Training Lead from 2003 to 2005, and in various roles from 1990 to 2003, including Annuity Operations Officer, Sr. Manager, Manager, Supervisor, Lead Analyst, and Pension Specialist.

Their career began at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 1984, where they started as a data entry clerk and later transitioned to the Life & Annuity Department.

Prior to that, Machelle worked at Anacomp from 1982 to 1984, holding roles such as Supervisor, Data Entry Clerk, and Quality Control Analyst.

Machelle Burdett-Edmonson completed their high school education at Brownsburg High School from 1977 to 1981, earning a diploma with a focus on art, business, and math. In 2018, they enrolled in a course on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) offered by Scaled Agile, Inc. However, they have not yet taken the exam for the certification, and their degree is still pending. Additionally, in May 2019, Machelle obtained a certification in Applying Agile MoSCoW Prioritization from LinkedIn.
