Alejandro Alonso

Alejandro Alonso is a co-founder of East Edge Securities, serving in this role since November 2023. Previously, Alejandro gained experience as a software engineering intern at Morgan Stanley and as a quantitative research analyst at Paragon National Group. In the summer of 2023, Alejandro was a software engineering fellow at Jane Street, where a notable achievement included placing 1st in an electronic trading competition. Additionally, Alejandro worked as a student software developer focused on network architecture at the University of Chicago. Alejandro has also taken on leadership roles in outreach for AI4ALL and served as an instructor at Launch Math + Science Centers. Alejandro is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Astrophysics and Astronomy at the University of Chicago and is also enrolled at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Stuyvesant High School.
