Steve Lessard

Steve Lessard is a Senior Risk Consultant at Paragon Risk Engineering since April 2023, specializing in property loss prevention with a focus on fire protection engineering, risk control, natural hazards, and equipment breakdown. Prior to their current role, Lessard served as a Risk Engineering Consultant at Marsh from November 2017 to April 2023 and at Zurich North America from February 2015 to November 2017. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Consultant Engineer at FM Global from October 2007 to February 2015 and Manufacturing Engineer at Blount Canada Ltd from February 2002 to October 2007. Lessard began their career as a Project Engineer-Continuous Casting at Lake Erie Steel Company Ltd from May 1998 to February 2001. Lessard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Materials Science from McMaster University, completed in 2000.
