Bryan Schmitt

Bryan Schmitt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bryan currently works at Parallax Advanced Research as a Program Manager since 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at General Dynamics Information Technology, including Outreach Coordinator and Training and Development Specialist for the Department of Defense's High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) PET Program. Bryan was responsible for engaging with government leadership, identifying business opportunities, and developing training curriculum. Before that, they worked as a Mentor Investigator/Background Investigator, conducting training and development programs and ensuring contract compliance. Additionally, they gained experience as a Background Investigator at Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, KeyPoint Government Solutions, and USIS, where they conducted initial investigator training, maintained production levels, and developed remedial training plans. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Fraud Analyst at National City Bank.

Bryan Schmitt earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Homeland Security Administration from Tiffin University, where they attended from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Bryan Schmitt has obtained several certifications. These include a certification in "Microsoft Excel for Project Management" from Instructing.com, LLC, which they obtained in March 2022. Bryan also holds a "Learn Moodle Basics Certification" from Moodle, which they received in April 2020, and a "Moodle Admin Basics MOOC" certification, also from Moodle, obtained in March 2020.
