LJ Eads

Director of Research Intelligence at Parallax Advanced Research

LJ Eads has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career in 2012 as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force, where they utilized signals intelligence analysis to identify and analyze foreign activity. They then transitioned to a Signals Intelligence Analyst role, where they conducted operational intelligence and managed intelligence collection flights. LJ Eads' expertise in data analysis and technology led them to roles at MITRE and Booz Allen Hamilton, where they led various research and development programs. At MITRE, they focused on Science & Technology Intelligence research and development, while at Booz Allen Hamilton, they served as a Senior Lead Technologist and provided technical advisory for the establishment of a Digital Lab Environment. LJ Eads then founded Data Abyss, a company that specializes in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data using natural language processing and data analytics tools. Most recently, they have worked as the Director of Research Intelligence at Parallax Advanced Research, leading a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver data analytics products to State and Federal customers. Additionally, LJ Eads is also a Co-Founder and Technology Director at The CCP BioThreats Initiative, which focuses on strategic net assessment exercises and investigations related to bioweapons and information warfare programs.

LJ Eads obtained an Associate's Degree in Intelligence Studies and Technology from the Community College of the Air Force from 2012 to 2014. Following this, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at the University of Management and Technology. LJ Eads further expanded their education by completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Management and Technology from 2015 to 2017.
