Mike P.

Mike P. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mike is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Parallax Advanced Research, starting in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at ACT as the Senior Vice President Supply Chain Operations from January 2015 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for improving internal operations, developing a strategic plan, and overseeing the global test center network. Before ACT, Mike was the General Manager at CTB/McGraw-Hill from June 2006 to January 2015, where they focused on improving operational performance and implementing lean principles. Mike also had roles at OFS, including Divisional General Manager from August 2004 to November 2005, and Global Vice President Marketing and Sales from November 1998 to August 2004. In these positions, they had full P&L responsibility and worked on sales, marketing, business planning, and product development initiatives.

Mike P. has a strong educational background in engineering. Mike holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mechanics Engineering Science from the University of Michigan. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Additionally, Mike P. has two additional certifications. In December 2022, they obtained a certification in "CORPORATE GOVERNANCE: MAXIMIZE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS IN THE BOARDROOM" from The Wharton School/Emeritus. In April 2011, they obtained the Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification, although the institution from which they obtained it is unspecified.
