Jennifer Belcher has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Freelance Writer for Just Write Jen in 2013. Jennifer then went on to become a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, followed by a Head Teacher role at Marymount International School Rome in 2014. In 2016, they became an Educator at the National Association of Independent Schools, and a Head Teacher and Grade Level Leader at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School. In 2019, they took on the role of Social Media Manager at The Brunswick Center and Director of Communications at Code Wiz Jersey City, where they developed and maintained all social media platforms, wrote promotional and educational content, provided original photo content, and used Canva to create graphics, brochures, flyers, etc. Jennifer also hosted events, Instagram livestreams, workshops, seminars, etc. to educate the community and facilitate conversations and learning. In 2021, they became a Content Writer and Care Specialist at Parallel, and in 2022, they took on the role of Knowledge Center Manager at The Vets and Curriculum Design Specialist at To Move Mountains Projects.
Jennifer Belcher's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from West Virginia State University, a Master of Education (MEd) in Literacy from Marshall University, and a Supervisor Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Kean University. Jennifer also completed a Teacher Education Higher Education program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
