Parallel Markets is seeking a bright, motivated self-starter to join our rapidly-growing operations team.

As an Accreditations Analyst, you’ll handle accredited investor application review, customer success and client communications. Your primary responsibility will be to help onboard investors and verify documentation. This involves a significant amount of client interaction, document review, online database research and independent thinking. Over time, our clients will expect you to be an expert in the space, and we expect you to develop a thorough understanding of the regulatory and practical issues at hand.

About Parallel Markets

Private markets are shifting to online platforms at a rate of tens of billions of dollars a year. As part of regulatory requirements, investors must upload extensive financial and personal documentation. This process is painful and repetitive and leads to significant investor drop-off.

Parallel Markets significantly reduces this pain point by allowing investors to go through the verification process once, then enabling users to log in anywhere using a portable investor identity.

Responsibilities

  • Review accreditation applications to confirm the applicant meets SEC accreditation verification requirements; authenticate documentation, verify applicant identity and evaluate customer risk, communicating with applicants as needed
  • Work closely with customers to answer questions and resolve issues in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction and retention
  • Assist in sanctions review, evaluating user matches in accordance with KYC/AML and CDD protocols

Requirements

  • Previous experience collecting/reviewing proof of income documentation, proof of net worth documentation, legal agreements, government IDs and/or other official documents a plus

Strong preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • A background in financial compliance or knowledge of financial laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of Reg D 506(c) offerings
  • Experience helping non-technical people navigate technical solutions
  • Experience working with online equity platforms

Compensation / Benefits

In addition to a salary range of $50k – $60k for this position, Parallel provides equity grants as well as a competitive benefits package (health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, home office setup, unlimited paid leave, and more).
