Thomas Bottom

Thomas Bottom has been in the software engineering field since 2011. Thomas began their career at Lab X Technologies as an Embedded Firmware Engineer, developing software and firmware for embedded systems. In 2011, they also took on a role as a Parallel Computing Researcher at the University of Rochester. In 2010, they worked as a Network Operations Command Center Intern at Akamai Technologies, where they maintained a deployed network of 80,000+ servers and troubleshot live systems in a network serving over 4 Tbps under peak load. In 2014, they moved to Biamp Systems as an Embedded Software Engineer IV. Thomas is currently employed at Parallel Systems as a Senior Software Engineer.

Thomas Bottom attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
