Kate Peña

Kate Peña, BA, EMT, CSTR, CAISS, is an experienced professional in trauma and clinical data management with a solid background in emergency communications. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Parallon, Kate has held multiple roles including Operations Manager and Team Lead in Clinical Data and Registry Abstraction for Trauma. Prior experience includes the position of Senior Trauma/Burn Registrar at VCU Health and Trauma Registrar at HCA Healthcare. Kate's career in emergency response began with the US Navy as a Regional Emergency Response Dispatcher and included roles at Chesterfield County as Assistant Shift Supervisor and Fire & EMS Specialist. Kate is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University.
