Patricia Bates

Patricia Bates, RHIA, has extensive experience in health information management and training, currently serving as a Billing Integrity Analyst and HSC Trainer at Parallon since February 2012. In this role, Patricia trains on the HPF/MPF EMR system and conducts General Orientation. Previously, as an HIM Specialist at Covenant Health from September 2004 to February 2012, Patricia acted as the "Super user," training medical professionals and staff on various electronic medical record systems. Earlier experience includes roles as a Medical Records Clerk/Data Entry at TN Surgical Specialist and a Medical Records Clerk at Knoxville Neurology Clinic. Patricia holds a Master of Education in Instructional Design and a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics, both from Western Governors University, along with additional educational credentials from other institutions.
