Aaron Payne

Aaron Payne, CFA has a diverse work experience. Aaron started their career as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Fairwood Golf and Country Club in 2009 and continued in this role until 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the Renton School District from 2010 to 2012. In 2018, Aaron joined Parametric as a Portfolio Analyst before moving on to become a Quantitative Analyst in 2019. Aaron then progressed to the position of Investment Engineer in 2022 and currently holds the role of Vice President, Investment Engineer as of January 2023.

Aaron Payne, CFA has an extensive education history in the field of finance and mathematics. In 2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder. In order to further their knowledge in computational finance, Aaron pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computational Finance and Risk Management at the University of Washington from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, in 2016, they received a Graduate Certificate in Computational Finance and a Certificate in Quantitative Fundamentals of Computational Finance, both from the University of Washington. In terms of additional certifications, Aaron became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder in July 2022, from the CFA Institute. Aaron also obtained an American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification in May 2010.
