Mounir Benchemled

Mounir Benchemled has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mounir is a Co-Founder of DeFi France, a decentralized finance organization that they established in October 2019. Prior to that, Mounir founded ParaSwap in April 2019, where they hold a leadership position.

Mounir also has experience in the technology sector, having worked as a Lead Software Developer and Contractor at RATPgroup and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2018. At BCG, they contributed to a data-driven project focused on transforming the sales process for an optics company.

Before their involvement with BCG, Mounir served as the CTO & PM at Captain Dash from February 2017 to January 2018. There, they led a tech and product team, implementing Scrum as a framework and introducing process improvements for efficient software delivery. Mounir also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Captain Dash from October 2015 to January 2017, focusing on data analytics and transforming weekly reports into interactive apps for clients.

In their previous roles, Mounir worked as a Lead Developer at Class&Co from September 2013 to September 2015, where they built a SAAS solution for transportation companies. Mounir was responsible for the mobile product and tech infrastructure. Additionally, they served as a Software Developer at iDTGV from September 2012 to January 2014, contributing to the development and maintenance of software infrastructure for train transportation services.

Before that, Mounir gained experience as a Software Developer at LeKiosque.fr from September 2011 to September 2012, where they focused on backend solutions related to quality of service and scalability. Mounir also worked as a Founder at MailedIn from January 2011 to September 2011, offering email marketing and deliverability solutions for targeted advertisements.

Mounir's career began in 2010 as a Software Developer at Social IQ, their first startup experience, where they played a role in building the next big thing in social media.

Mounir Benchemled pursued their education in the field of Information Technology (IT). Mounir first enrolled in Avignon Université in 2009 and completed their Master's degree in IT in 2010. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they studied at the Faculty of Science and Technology Tangier, where they also earned a Master's degree in IT. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, Faculty of Science and Technology Tangier, from 2006 to 2008.
