Michael Weiss

Michael Weiss is an experienced professional in the emergency services and technical rescue fields, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager for Paratech Inc., covering Western Canada since November 2017. As the Owner and Technical Rescue Instructor at Edelweiss Rescue Services Ltd since January 2014, Weiss provides consulting and training in various technical rescue aspects, including rope and confined space rescues. Additionally, Weiss has been a Firefighter with Edmonton Fire Rescue Services since January 1999, currently holding the position of captain and serving in the Technical Rescue Team. Previous roles within Edmonton Fire Rescue Services include Technical Rescue Coordinator from April 2012 to April 2013. Michael Weiss's education includes multiple certifications in rigging, technical rescue, and fire services instruction, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta.
