Shantanu Joshi

Shantanu Joshi is a strategic advisor and turnaround expert, based in India, with more than 20 years experience in the automotive industry having held senior roles at Siemens, Sandvik, SKF Bearings, Delphi Automotive Systems and Finolex-J Power. Today, he operates a consulting practice called Decintell Tech Pvt Limited, which helps companies digitize their manufacturing processes. He currently consults with several large Indian business conglomerates to digitize various enterprise processes such as Engineering Change Management, New Product Development, Constraint-based Capacity Planning, Spares and Warranty Tracking. He has introduced Internet-of-Things ("IoT") applications for OEMs to track field performance of their installed base for predictive spares management.

Prior to Decintell, as Managing Director of Finolex-J Power, a joint venture ("JV") of Hitachi and Sumitomo, Shantanu was responsible for getting the JV, a greenfield project, off the ground, which included raising financing, securing necessary regulatory approvals and constructing the factory.

Before Finolex-J Power, Shantanu spent 12 years working with Delphi as the Managing Director of ASEAN, Australia and India for Delphi's Packard Electric division. At Delphi, he was responsible for the turn around of three troubled operations and businesses, which included multiple M&A transactions, as well as managing the supply chain in the South Asia region.

Shantanu graduated from the University of Bombay with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
