David Wilfret

Vice President Of Clinical Research at Pardes Biosciences

David Wilfret has a significant work experience in the field of clinical research and development. David currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Research at Pardes Biosciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Clinical Development at ContraFect Corp from February 2021 to October 2021, where they led clinical development strategies and managed various aspects of clinical studies. From January 2018 to February 2021, they worked as a Senior Medical Director at Atox Bio. David also has experience as a Pharmaceutical Consultant at Wilfret Consulting from September 2015 to December 2017. In addition, David served as the co-founder of Symmune Therapeutics from August 2015 to December 2017. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Clinical Development at GlaxoSmithKline from September 2009 to August 2015. David's educational background includes fellowships in pediatric stem cell transplantation and pediatric infectious diseases at Duke University Medical Center from July 2004 to June 2009, and a residency in pediatrics at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center from July 2002 to June 2004.

David Wilfret began their education at Manatee High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1988 to 1992. David then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Florida from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, Wilfret continued their education at the University of Florida, where they obtained their MD degree in Medicine from 1997 to 2001.
