Sarah Hacker

Sarah Hacker is a dedicated Labour councillor for Battle Ward at Reading Borough Council since 2010, currently serving as chair of the Art & Heritage Forum and the Cultural Education Partnership, in addition to being a member of the Traffic Management Subcommittee. Sarah has extensive experience in fundraising and community engagement, holding positions such as Chair of the Housing, Neighbourhoods and Leisure Committee at Parents And Children Together (PACT) and trustee at Reading Pride UK. Previous roles include senior pension administrator at Diligenta and Capita, where responsibilities focused on the retirement process, as well as social media content creation for Tots Bots Ltd. Recognition includes being named Alumnus of the Year 2015 by the University of Reading for significant community contributions. Educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Rural Environmental Science from the University of Reading.
