Research and Data Specialist II at Parents as Teachers National Center

Jennifer Henk has a diverse work experience in the field of education and research. Jennifer started their career as an Assistant Professor at California State University Stanislaus in 2006, where they worked until 2010. Jennifer then joined the University of Arkansas as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2017. During their time there, they conducted research and taught in their field of expertise. In 2017, they transitioned to Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) USA as the Director of Education & Research. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the implementation of the HIPPY model and ensuring its quality across multiple sites. Jennifer also led initiatives to improve program effectiveness through fidelity monitoring, research synthesis, and data analysis. Jennifer currently holds the position of Research and Data Specialist II and Research and Data Coordinator at Parents as Teachers National Center, a position they have held since 2020.

Jennifer Henk earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Their studies took place from 2000 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Mentoring Others from LinkedIn in October 2020, and in Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in July 2020.
