Trond Svensgaard

Trond Svensgaard is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Pareto Securities AS since April 2012. Prior to this role, Trond held the position of Head of Risk Management for European Commodities at NASDAQ OMX from September 2009 to April 2012. Earlier in Trond's career, relevant experience was gained at Nord Pool Clearing ASA, where Trond initially worked as a Risk Manager and later advanced to Head of Risk Management from February 1999 to September 2009. Trond holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), which was obtained from 1992 to 1995.
