Minusmita Ray

Minusmita Ray has extensive work experience in the field of clinical data management and biometrics. Minusmita started their career in 2008 as a Junior Research Associate in Patent Services at GVK Biosciences Pvt.Ltd., where they handled projects related to IPR, patent searches, chemical and biological information retrieval, and drug discovery projects. Minusmita then worked as a Patent Specialist at Khurana & Khurana, Advocates and IP Attorneys, and Institute of Intellectual Property Research & Development from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, Minusmita joined King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Trial Coordinator, followed by a role as a Clinical Data Associate at HCA. Minusmita then transitioned into the role of Clinical Data Manager in Data Management at Chiltern International Ltd. in 2015, where they worked on clinical trials in various phases, primarily in oncology studies. Minusmita used EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical database, and Trial Master Omnicomm.

From 2019 to 2021, Minusmita worked as a Clinical Data Manager II at Clinipace, where they were involved in project start-up activities, data management activities, and study finalization activities, adhering to SOPs, Good Clinical Practice, ICH Guidelines, and study documentation.

In 2021, they joined ICON plc as a Senior Global Data Manager, responsible for managing global data for clinical trials. And in 2023, Minusmita will start working as the Global Biometrics Delivery Lead at Parexel.

Throughout their work experience, Minusmita has demonstrated their expertise in clinical data management, data review, query generation, database setup, quality control, and archiving. Minusmita has also gained experience in conducting quality analysis, testing data input screens, and performing high-confidentiality data edit checks.

Minusmita Ray completed their Masters in BioMedical Genetics from VIT University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended St. Joseph's Girls' High School from 1990 to 2001 and obtained their ICSE degree.
