Peter Genakos

Peter Genakos has a comprehensive and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Peter is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Parexel, where they strategize and leads various core functions, including Business Operations and Grant Strategy teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality study start-up for clients while driving revenue and operating margin. Peter also engages in client account governance and fosters operational excellence. Prior to Parexel, Peter worked as the General Manager at Invicro, a Konica Minolta Company, and Everest Clinical Research. Peter has also held the position of Global Vice President at Covance, where they led multiple global Centers of Excellence and managed cross-functional support services in various countries. Before Covance, Peter worked as the Associate Vice President at sanofi-aventis and served as the Executive Director of Global Clinical Development Operations at Merck for a significant duration of their career.

Peter Genakos received their Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in the years 1985 to 1990. Peter later pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from New York Law School, completing it from 1995 to 1998.
