Omar Elassar is an experienced professional currently serving as a Strategic Advisor and VP, Global Head of Ecosystem Growth & Business Development at Parity Technologies, where responsibilities include overseeing ecosystem growth and driving Polkadot adoption. As the founder and CEO of MENA Investor League, Omar leads an investment syndication and advisory firm specializing in early-stage technology and digital-assets. Previous roles include Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at Ripple, where leadership was provided for the EMEA region, and consulting positions at Oliver Wyman and Deloitte. Early career experiences include various internships in technology roles at Morgan Stanley, Scotiabank, Barclays Capital, and StatPro. Omar holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
