Teresita Carrión Géigel

Teresita Carrión Géigel has over 18 years of professional experience in the gaming industry. From 2018 to present, they have been the Vice President of Administration at Park Avenue Gaming. In this role, they provide exceptional support in the management of all fiscal and financial functions, offers strategic support to the CEO and executive team, and facilitates outside legal counsel.

Previously, they served as the Chief of Staff at Park Avenue Gaming from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they provided expert-level support to the CEO in the development and establishment of new company operations, arranged necessary data and important concerns, and devised and implemented effective policies.

From 2013 to 2014, Teresita worked as the Deputy Secretary/Executive Director at the Treasury Department/Bureau of Lotteries.

Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Operations at CAGE Puerto Rico LLC from 2009 to 2013. In this role, they provided excellent support activities from legal, operational, and human resources standpoint in Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, and the Dominican Republic.

Teresita began their career in 2001 as the Deputy Secretary/Executive Director at the Treasury Department/Bureau of Lotteries. In this role, they oversaw the overall operations of both the Electronic and Traditional lotteries, accumulated full scope of documents and memorandums for policy development, provided budget forecasting, and approved agent licenses.

Teresita Carrión Géigel received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism from the University of Maryland, and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government / Latin American Studies from the University at Albany, SUNY.
