L. Elizabeth Gibbes

L. Elizabeth Gibbes serves as the Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany for Georgia and South Carolina at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Atlanta since March 2019, focusing on the promotion of German-U.S. relations. Additionally, Gibbes has been a Partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since 1999, leading the firm's International Business Practice and providing counsel on immigration and corporate matters to foreign-owned companies across various industries. Gibbes holds a JD and LLM in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law, as well as a B.A. cum laude in Language and Culture in the Modern World from Davidson College.
