Position Overview:
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Parker Health. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. By leveraging your strong market insights and business acumen, you will shape and execute business development strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company's overall objectives, vision, and mission.
- Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and emerging technologies to capitalize on untapped revenue streams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess market demands and evaluate the company's position in the industry.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and strategic partners to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation, conversion, and retention strategies.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support both parties' objectives.
- Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business development efforts and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and board of directors on business development initiatives and progress.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and optimize internal workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Preferred and proven track record of at least 3 years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the healthcare or technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that resulted in significant revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients and partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and strategic mindset.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare shifts within the industry with ability to adapt and execute off of the dynamic healthcare landscape changes.
- Willingness to travel as required to establish and maintain business relationships.
