Patricia Denton

Patricia Denton has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and organizations. Patricia is currently serving as the Associate Director of Research Grants at the Parkinson's Foundation, where they contribute to improving care and advancing research for Parkinson's disease. Previously, Patricia worked as the Director of Grantmaking Operations at the William T. Grant Foundation, focusing on reducing inequality and improving the use of research evidence. Patricia also held the position of Senior Director, Scientific Review and Management at the National MS Society, where they supervised and managed the workflow of scientific programs. In addition, Patricia has experience in grant initiatives, program development, and administration at organizations such as Stony Brook University and the Community Development Corporation of Long Island. Patricia also worked at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research as the Manager of Grant Administration, Research Operations. Patricia's work experience showcases their expertise in grants management, program development, and research operations.

Patricia Denton obtained their A.S. in Computer Science from Nassau Community College from 1990 to 1993. Following this, they pursued their BSW degree in Social Work at Molloy University from 2004 to 2007.
