Shilpa Rao

Shilpa Rao, PhD is currently the Director of Strategic Operations at Parkinson's Foundation. Prior to this role, Shilpa held positions as a Graduate Research Student at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute and a Research Technician at Cleveland Clinic. Shilpa has a strong background in molecular medicine and has worked on projects related to women-specific health factors in Parkinson's disease, glioblastoma, and gene expression. In addition to their professional roles, Shilpa has been involved in various organizations such as Phi Delta Epsilon and has experience as a Supplemental Instruction Tutor. Shilpa also has experience in laboratory work, having worked as a Lab Assistant at Northwest Mosquito Abatement District. Additionally, Shilpa has retail experience from their time as a Sales Associate at Abercrombie & Fitch.
