Catherine Doran

Catherine Doran is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media and journalism. Currently serving as the Media and Communications Manager at Parkinson's UK since September 2021, Catherine previously held the position of Media and Communications Officer at the same organization. Prior to this, Catherine worked as a Communications Officer at Victim Support Northern Ireland and gained valuable experience as a Freelance Social Media Manager after completing the Digital Mums course in 2017. Catherine started their career as a multimedia journalist, working at the Derry Journal and the Londonderry Sentinel, contributing to news and features for both print and online platforms. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Liverpool and has achieved additional qualifications in social media management.
