Holly Mitchell

Director Of Critical & Intermediate Care at Parkland Medical Center

Holly Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Holly started their career at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2003 as a Staff Nurse in Progressive Care, Oncology, and Orthopedics. In 2005, they moved to Yale New Haven Hospital as a Staff Nurse in the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. In 2006, they joined St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire where they held various roles including Staff Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Director of Cardiovascular and Critical Care Nursing Services. In 2018, they joined Parkland Medical Center as a Nursing Supervisor and later became the Clinical Coordinator of the Progressive Care Unit. Holly also served as the Interim Director and currently holds the position of Director of Critical and Intermediate Care.

Holly Mitchell holds a Master's Degree in Nursing Science, which they obtained from Walden University between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Prince Edward Island from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, Holly Mitchell has also obtained two certifications. In November 2014, they became a Nurse Executive Certified Nurse through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Earlier, in February 2012, they obtained a certification as a Progressive Care Certified Nurse from the AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses).
