Chris Michalec

Chris Michalec has been in the technology industry since 1999. Chris began their career as a PC Repair Technician at Coastal Discount Computers in 1999. In 2002, they founded and owned DriverDisks.com and was also Store Manager at Computers Plus. In 2006, they founded and owned Toledo Computer Doctor, where they created and sold diagnostic and repair software to individuals and computer repair technicians. Chris also worked as PC Repair Supervisor/Acting Store Manager at Computer Discount. From 2008 to 2020, they were the Founder, Chief Strategist, and vCIO at Parkway Technology Solutions. In 2020, they founded Defendesk, an organization focused on helping growth-focused organizations scale employee productivity with their growth.

Chris Michalec attended The University of Toledo from 2005 to 2005, where they studied International Business. From 2002 to 2004, they attended University of Mount Olive, where they studied Social Studies Education.
