Brett Humphreys has extensive work experience in the U.S. Army. Brett began their career in 2010 as a Combat Medic with the 1/11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. In 2011, they moved to Brooke Army Medical Center, also as a Combat Medic. In 2012, they became an Operations Officer with the US Army North - Civil Support Training Activity. From 2016-2017, they were the Brigade CBRN Officer with the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, followed by a role as a CBRN Officer with the U.S. Army North - CBRNE Center of Excellence/CBRN Response Enterprise (CRE) Cell. In 2018, they were a Company Commander with the U. S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters. In 2020, they became a Jury Manager with Parler and a Division CBRNE Deputy with the 2nd Infantry Division - Korea. Currently, they are an Acting Director, Maneuver Support Division / CBRN Test Officer - Major with the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), and a CBRN Officer - Major with U.S. Army North (5th Army).
Brett Humphreys obtained a B.S.H.S. in Healthcare Management from Trident University International between 2008 and 2009. Brett also holds several certifications, including Radiological Packaging from the US Army CBRN School obtained in June 2016, HazMat Ops - Personal Protective Equipment from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress obtained in May 2013, Hazardous Materials Operations from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress obtained in May 2013, Hazardous Materials Technician from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress obtained in May 2013, and Hazardous Materials Awareness from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress obtained in January 2013.
