Roopa Devasya is a Senior Specialist in Innovation and Product Development at Agropur, with extensive experience in the food and dairy industry. Since joining Agropur in May 2021, Roopa has provided technical support in process standardization and formulation while developing strategic plans for the sourcing of raw materials. Prior roles include Research & Technical Project Manager at Parmalat Canada, where Roopa managed innovation teams and provided regulatory leadership, as well as earlier positions in quality assurance and microbiology at Cargill and Unilever. Roopa holds a Ph.D. in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from Western University, along with a Master’s in Food Science and a Master’s in Dairy Microbiology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
